Am a Kiwi (note to North Americans - not the fruit but from New Zealand).
Originally from Christchurch (the city whose heart was destroyed in a recent earthquake), now living north of Auckland. Often go back down there often as my family still live there but am sad about the loss of so many buildings which, now, are only in memory but am looking forward to the new growth which is planned to be beautiful & environmentally sustainable.

My heart will always be there as Christchurch will always be my home town.
